This is the hotel I like to stay in when in London, since it is very well located; tube station and supermarket across the road, excellent bakery very close, walking distance to the Victoria and Albert, Natural History Museum and Harrods. The rooms are comfortable and quiet, staff friendly and efficient. My daughter and I were avoiding indoor dining so used room service most nights and the food was very good, no exceptions. We were impressed. They even brought us afternoon tea in the room as I was not well, and set it up in our room on the final day. I am not young and have knee replacements so I appreciated the grab bar for the shower, which is above an unusually deep bath. I wish more hotels would provide these where it is necessary to climb into the bath to take a shower.

The location was ideal for us. We had easy access to both buses and trains, and we also had the opportunity to explore many nearby restaurants. We arrived at the hotel well before our check-in time, and there was a short wait. Fortunately, the hotel staff was able to accommodate us. They even offered us complimentary cookies and breakfast as a gesture for the inconvenience. Although I don't recall the associate's name who was wearing a headscarf, she was exceptionally kind and went the extra mile. She provided us with a map and even marked down some recommended locations for us to visit.

Room was just as advertised. Very comfy beds. The staff were fantastic. Friendly, helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The food was tasty too! Perfect location for National history museum, science museum, V and A. Just make sure you book the museums before arriving, because it really speeds things up so you have less time queuing and more time exploring. Gloucester Road tube station is 2 minutes walk. There's also Waitrose, Boots and a few food places within a few minutes walking distance.

The entrance to the hotel is nice, inviting and spacious, with friendly smiley staff ready to book you on. The room was nice and comfortable, with no smell at all. Our beds were comfy with firm mattresses and clean white bedding. The bathroom was clean and floors looked clean. The room is well equipped with a kettle, iron and ironing board, hairdryer etc.
